Applicable Products
This warranty applies exclusively to the following products purchased from Gravity Builds Ltd:
- Composite decking Boards
- Composite fencing Boards
Warranty Duration
Gravity Builds warrants to the original purchaser (“Purchaser”) that, for a period of ten (15) years from the date of purchase, under standard use and service conditions, the products will not split, splinter, rot, or suffer structural damage from termites or fungal decay.
Claim Process
If a Purchaser discovers a defect within the warranty period, they must notify Gravity Builds in writing at info@gravitybuilds.co.uk. Gravity Builds reserves the right to request additional information related to the warranty claim.
Upon verification of the defect by an authorized Gravity Builds representative, Gravity Builds’ sole responsibility will be, at its option, to either:
- Replace the defective item, or
- Refund the purchase price paid by the Purchaser for such defective item (excluding initial installation or delivery costs).
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover costs or expenses incurred for:
- The removal of defective products.
- The installation of replacement materials, including but not limited to labour and delivery.
The remedies provided herein are the SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY for any breach of warranty.
Proration of Refunds
If a valid warranty claim is made during the warranty period after the original purchase date, the Purchaser’s recovery will be prorated as indicated below. If Gravity Builds is providing replacement materials, it may elect to replace the percentage listed below of products; if Gravity Builds is refunding the purchase price, it may elect to refund the percentage listed below of the purchase price of the products.

Limitations
Gravity Builds does not warrant against, and is not responsible for, any product failure or damage due to:
- Improper installation of products and/or failure to abide by Gravity Builds’ installation requirements as set out in our How to Install Composite Decking instructions, including but not limited to:
- Improper gapping
- Joists laid at more than 30 cm centres
- Use of non-Gravity Builds fasteners
- Use beyond normal service conditions or in applications not recommended by Gravity Builds’ guidelines and local building codes.
- Movement, distortion, collapse, or settling of the ground or the supporting structure on which products are installed.
- Acts of God (such as flooding, hurricanes, earthquakes, lightning), environmental conditions (such as air pollution, mold, mildew), staining from foreign substances (such as dirt, grease, oil, chemicals), or normal weathering (defined as exposure to sunlight, weather, and atmosphere causing any coloured surface to gradually fade, lighten, chalk, or accumulate dirt or stains).
- Variations or changes in colour of products.
- Expansion or contraction of materials.
- Improper handling, storage, abuse, or neglect of products by the Purchaser or third parties.
- Products that have not been paid for in full.
- Ordinary wear and tear.
No person or entity is authorized by Gravity Builds to make any statement or representation regarding the quality or performance of the products outside of this warranty.
Disclaimer of Warranties
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES: EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WRITTEN WARRANTY CONTAINED HEREIN, GRAVITY BUILDS MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, GUARANTEES OR INDEMNITIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ARISING BY LAW, COURSE OF DEALING, USAGE OF TRADE, CUSTOM OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ALL SUCH OTHER WARRANTIES, GUARANTEES AND INDEMNITIES ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED, OVERRIDDEN AND EXCLUDED FROM THIS TRANSACTION. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL GRAVITY BUILDS BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOST PROFITS, LOST SALES, LOSS OF GOODWILL, USE OF MONEY, USE OF GOODS, STOPPAGE OF WORK, OR IMPAIRMENT OF ASSETS), WHETHER SUCH DAMAGES ARE SOUGHT IN CONTRACT, IN TORT (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NEGLIGENCE AND STRICT LIABILITY) OR OTHERWISE, AND GRAVITY BUILDS’ LIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS SHALL IN NO EVENT EXCEED THE REPLACEMENT OF SUCH PRODUCTS OR REFUND OF THE PURCHASE PRICE, AS DESCRIBED ABOVE.
Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances will Gravity Builds be liable for special, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or sales, loss of goodwill, or impairment of assets. Gravity Builds' liability for defective products shall, in no event, exceed the replacement of such products or refund of the purchase price as described above.
This warranty may not apply in all jurisdictions; thus, some of the above limitations may not be applicable to you. This warranty provides specific legal rights, and you may have additional rights that vary by jurisdiction. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights under applicable national legislation governing the sale of consumer goods.
